    Data & Insight Managing or Principal Consultant

    The Data & Insight Practice in AND Consulting helps our clients to use data to make business choices based on evidence AND support them in embedding data into their organisational strategy and ways of working. We cover areas such as data strategy, architecture and experimentation. We've worked with clients to transform their use of data, including designing a new data strategy for a leading press & media organisation, transforming ways of working at a leading bank using data products and setting up an experimentation framework on a brand new digital product for a market-leading food & beverage company.

    About You

    As a Data & Insight Consultant, you will be working on data & insight consulting projects with AND Digital's household name clients. You could be working on projects which involve:

    • Defining transformative data strategies for household name businesses that allow them to use data more effectively
    • Building the case for change and achieving the cultural shift required for data-focussed ways of working to drive data transformation
    • Designing and delivering data and insight products, platforms or transformations
    • Creating governance models that allow our clients to properly manage their data asset


    As a result, you will need to be able to:

    • Understand the latest tools and technologies within data and insight and be able to apply them to our client's challenges
    • Understand how data and analytics can support business objectives and goals
    • Communicate complex propositions through story-telling and great written communication
    • Lead large scale data transformations
    • Be comfortable in a professional services environment moving between various client engagements

    To do that, it's essential you bring the following:

    • Previous consulting or professional services experience (or consulting-type roles) in a data role
    • Experience in designing and delivering data strategies
    • Understand data architecture concepts like ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes/warehouses/lakehouses and data mesh
    • Experience of using or designing common data and analytics platforms using technologies such as AWS, GCP, Snowflake etc. and/or visualisation tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
    • Strong understanding of different data operating models and governance structures
    • Ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences

    It's helpful if you also have:

    • Experience with working with one or more cloud providers
    • Experience of digital product optimisation techniques such as experimentation, A/B testing, MVT, CRO
    • Capabilities in one or more other specialist areas such as SEO, data visualisation, data modelling, data architecture

    We are currently looking for consultants at either Managing or Principal level for our London office, with a blended working model for flexibility in working from home / office / client locations.
