£17.96 per hour PAYE, £22.36 per hour Umbrella

Our client are a Local Authority in Leicestershire, who are looking to add strength to their busy Homelessness team.

The candidate will need to be customer focused and have a drive to do everything possible to obtain a positive outcome.

As with all Homelessness Officer roles, the role will be providing comprehensive advice and assistance across all of the housing options offered by the Local Authority.

When needed, the successful candidate will undertake homelessness investigations and issue decisions.

Other important daily duties will include ensuring the role is carried out effectively and with efficiency, being respectful to all applicants and having the ability to see the service through the eyes of the customer.

This role is suitable for hybrid working, but regular attendance at the offices will be required. The contract will run for 3 months, with a view to extending.
