Rare opportunity for a Head of Publications to form part of the landing team in the UK for a globally renowned CRO who work with some of the top global biopharma and medical device companies.


The Company


This global company are looking to build their leadership team within the UK and as Head of Publications this key hire would be the first of it's kind in the UK, giving you the freedom and flexibility to create strategy and protocol for the growth of the team.

They focus specifically on scientific writing and communications, clinical operations and project management, and data managements and biometrics. Therapeutic areas include oncology, diabetes, cardiology, infectious disease, the respiratory system and many more


Head of Publications Role
This opportunity will enable you, as Head of Publications, to contribute to business success.

Your contributions will be highly valued and will involve:


  • Contribution to business expansion and process delivery
  • Process improvement and preparing strategies to tap existing and newer clients for financial growth
  • Managing people and projects, building a team to ensure high quality output
  • Aiming to expand client base by expending sales efforts and supporting proposals with practical solution designs
  • Assume complete accountability for the quality and timelines of team's deliverables with optimal productivity and efficiency with appreicable profitabilty
  • Align to clients' publication strategy and work closely with the publications head, as well as publication writers

Head of Publications Essential Experience

  • Proven record of having led and executed strategies to business objectives, resulting in building large engagements
years of experience in pharma drug development, clinical research, biotechnology or medical devices

  • Postgraduate degree in Science
  • Experience managing publications across a range of therapeutic areas
  • Willing to travel occasionally
  • CMPP certification
