HUGELY SUCCESSFUL RETAILER SEEKS CATEGORY PLANNER/ JUNIOR BUYER TO ENSURE CONTINUED SUCCESS OF MULTIPLE CATEGORIES
My Client is a very successful retailer with multiple locations across the world.
They sell a wide variety of major brands within fashion, beauty, luxury, and food and drink.
They are now looking for a Category Planner
- this is an ideal opportunity to join their category planning team.

Main Responsibilities are:

Assist the Category Manager in preparing and implementing the Commercial Plan for the relevant assigned Category
Ensure implementation of the novelties and promotions programme to deliver sales and profit targets
Managing the Category assortments at Local Level
Maintain a strong relationship with local operational teams and external suppliers to drive sales and performance
Collate sales and promotional information for trade and product meeting
Experience in collating and producing category reports/ trading pack and adhoc analysis for the category
Manage promotional activities
Collate sales and promotional information for trade and product meeting
Review Bad Stock, maintain tracker and follow up with Logistics, Finance and managed for Liquidation
Manage implementation of agreed Promotions with the local operations
Assist the central team with research about product and market trends

YOU MUST BE;
An experienced category planner, merchandiser or buyer (at any level), with experience of planning for a retail business.
