Description

Warehouse Worker

Duties:

Utilize warehouse management system to track and organize inventory
Build and assemble product orders for shipment
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment and machinery
Use AS400 system to input and retrieve data
Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
Perform picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders
Operate forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
Stock shelves and racks with inventory items
Handle materials with care to prevent damage or loss

Skills:

Proficient in using a warehouse management system to track inventory
Strong ability to build and assemble product orders accurately and efficiently
Mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts
Familiarity with AS400 system for data input and retrieval
Experience in loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
Skilled in picking and packing orders with attention to detail
Certified forklift operator with experience in maneuvering heavy loads
Knowledge of stock rotation principles to maintain inventory accuracy
Excellent materials handling skills to prevent damage or loss
