Are you working towards your AAT or CIMA and looking to progress with a fast paced and dynamic business? If so, I have the role for you
Were looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established logistics group based in Warrington on a permanent basis.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday, working in a small team of 6 and paying up to GBP28,000 depending on your experience Thisis a fantastic opportunity for you to grow your skills working in a progress and growing environment.

What were looking for an Assistant Accountant?

Assisting with the full preparation of weekly reporting and monthly accounts.
Managing revenues and reporting on variances
Maintaining and updating Fixed Assets and leasing liabilities
Managing the accounting for leasing and maintenance costs & reporting on variances
Accounting for tyre contracts and monitoring mileages of assets
Process balance sheet reconciliations monthly
Managing the full accounting of MHE assets, as well as cars and vans

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Working towards late stages of AAT or starting CIMA
Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role or similar
Experience of working in a busy environment with strong attention to detail
A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
Strong knowledge of MS packages, including advanced Excel is essential
Effective communication skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing team
The ability to work towards deadlines under pressure
Driven and eager to work within fixed guidelines
Good communication skills
Approachable and adaptable
