Description
Ignata Finance - ZRG Partners are currently recruiting for a VC backed hospitality business to recruit a Financial Accountant. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, hands on and a real team player.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of the annual statutory accounts
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Record and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Preparation of the quarterly Investor Report.
Regular updating of the company's forecast model
Ensure invoices are processed and the bank reconciled for timely monthly reporting.
Monitor cash flow, prepare weekly cash forecasts, and manage working capital.
Liaise with external accountants in the preparation of corporation tax returns.
Prepare quarterly VAT returns
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the company.
Overall responsibility for the year end external audit
Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
About You:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
2 plus years industry experience (retail/hospitality)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in Netsuite and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Pattern:
London Office: 3/4 days per week in the office
Salary:
Up to £65k
