Hours: 40 hours per week
Are you a compassionate and skilled Care Supervisor looking for a new challenge? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Specialist Care Team is seeking a Care Supervisor to provide leadership and support to our care staff within our supported living service.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing care in accordance with current best practices, and will supervise the staff team in one of our supported living properties.
This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to people's lives, which can include helping to ensure their day-to-day life is organised safely, planning extra curricular activities or travelling away.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:
As a Care Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
- Inducting new employees through our buddy system
- Supervising staff and ensuring that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service
- Being responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
- Creating and maintaining care plans
- Working as a member of the daytoday handson support team, alongside service users and team members
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Good English
- written and verbal
- You should also have achieved, or be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification in health and social care (we can provide extra training opportunities for you).
You should also possess:
- Proficient Written Skills
- Leadership Skills
- Communication Skills
- Problemsolving Skills
- Previous experience of working in a similar environment
