    Our Portfolio Solutions team is currently seeking candidates for the following position based in either our Manchester or London office:

    Portfolio Analyst

    What can you expect:

    To support the team with data and technical tasks related to Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS). The MPS Retail team are a group of 19 colleagues from across the UK who operate under a hybrid office and home working model.

    Primarily, you will be responsible for the production of contracted analytical reports and any ad-hoc reports required in support of the wider team. This will include internal management information and external client reports.

    This role sits in Marsh Portfolio Solutions, reporting to a Team Leader.

  • Leading on the creation of our analytical reports.
  • Ensuring accuracy of the data and keeping within our Key Performance Indicators for quality, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Responding to queries within agreed appropriate time frames from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implementing validation & reconciliation exercises with the data produced.
  • Production of ad hoc reports or data enrichment tasks as required.
  • Attending client meetings as required.
  • Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the team's intranet pages.
  • Other tasks as directed.
  • What you need to have:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent within a relevant data/analytical/business related subject.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Basic Acturis platform knowledge (training will be provided).
  • Competent on Microsoft office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • An articulate and confident self-starter with an analytical mind-set.
  • What makes you stand out:

  • Prior experience working at a broker or insurance company dealing with commercial and/or general lines insurances could be useful, but not essential.
  • Previous work experience/internship within a data/reporting related role.
