Description

A leading defence technology business require a Procurement Manager.

The Procurement Manager will develop and manage a supply chain partners, in support of bid activities and will also be responsible for on-going supplier and contract management.

Specific duties of the Procurement Manger:

Supply market intelligence activities, the identification and on-boarding of supplier / subcontractor partners
Encouraging supply chain collaboration and the development of workshare, teaming and partnering agreements
Establishing framework agreements
Ensure effective flowdown of MOD T&Cs
DEFCONS, DEFSTANS etc. into supplier/subcontractor agreement
Support management teams within each business unit, in terms of shaping procurement/commercial strategy
Procurement programme management activities

Procurement Manger applicants should meet the following criteria:

Experience in working with; defence, government and similar security agencies
Supply chain architecture and supply chain management expertise, on defence projects/programmes
The ability to foster supply chain collaboration sharing of IP, software, collaboration agreements etc.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Commercially motivated and compliant.
