Major Talent are recruiting a Coater Machine Operator for our highly successful client based in Altham, Lancashire.

Established in 2003, our client is a leading provider of food packaging, slitting, rewinding, and film solutions to various industries worldwide, this is a brilliant opportunity for the right person.

Details for Machine OperatorStarting at £12 per hour this will increase to £13 after initial training £14 per hour upon full training completion, plus a nightshift allowance of £15 per night.

Full-time, both days and nights with 2 weeks of night shifts out of every 6 weeks.
Great working week

• Monday
• Thursday either 7am/7pm or 7pm/7am.

Permanent role for the right person.
Paid for 46 hours a week with overtime opportunities.


Main Responsibilities:
Operate Silicone Coater machines efficiently.
Pack products with precision, including wrapping, weighing, and palletising.
Accurately record data using our in-house computer systemAdhere to work instructions and customer specifications.
Prioritise tasks according to our production schedule.
Maintain high standards of safety, waste reduction, and quality.
Keep the work area clean and organised.


Key Skills Required:
Prior machine operating experience is essential; full training will be provided.
Background in printing is essential.
Proficient in regular manual handling and manual dexterityFlexibility to work both day and night shifts is essential.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
IT literacy is desirable.
