    Following the announcement of a multi-million-pound investment and expansion at Pattison, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, creative, and highly motivated teacher of IT & Computing to join our team

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Is an outstanding, qualified secondary teacher who promotes our vision for aspirational excellence in teaching and learning.
    • Has the ability to inspire, maintain and further enhance our happy, vibrant school through positive contributions to school life.
    • Is passionate about teaching and learning, has high expectations and strives for the very best in supporting each individual to reach their full potential.
    • Is a team-player, with excellent interpersonal skills and good humour, who works collaboratively in a joint partnership with teachers in the whole school,
    • Is adaptable, flexible and, well organised.

    The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the school's vision and values. They will be a supportive member of the senior school team and help ensure the success of Pattison.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Teach IT & Computing to KS3, 4 and 5
    • Facilitate a learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
    • Contribute to raising standards of student attainment
    • Share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth, including in our new sixth form
    • Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students' needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge
    • Use an appropriate range of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives
    • Monitoring learners' progress and levels of attainment
