Part-Time Assessor Needed in Painting and Decorating

What's involved?

You will be delivering both practical and theory lessons in Painting and Decorating making to 16-19 year olds
You will be responsible for lesson planning and preparing resources for lessons
Sharing best practice across the department and contributing to curriculum development What's on offer?

Position: 0.5 FTE Temporary Lecturer with potential for permanency.

Salary:
Temp rate of £25 - £30 per hour. If made permanent, annual salary ranging from £30,600.01 to £36,504.59, dependent on experience (pro-rata actual £15,300 - £18,

Schedule Flexibility:
Part-time role requiring flexibility, with Tuesdays as a mandatory workday. Who are we looking for?

Qualified Painter and Decorator:
Must be professionally qualified in painting and decorating.

Recent Industry Experience:
Substantial, current experience in the painting and decorating sector.

Apprenticeship Standards Delivery:
Demonstrated success in delivering Apprenticeship Standards in Painting and Decorating.

NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent:
In a relevant subject area.

Maths and English:
GCSE grade C or equivalent in both subjects.

Assessor Qualification:
Holds a recognised assessing qualification, e.g., A1 Assessors Award.

Teaching Qualification:
Possesses or is willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
