    An automotive 1st tier supplier located in the West Midlands is actively looking to recruit a Quality Systems Engineer.

    As Quality Systems Engineer you will be required to investigate all quality issues and lead investigations for root cause analysis and using problem solving techniques, 8D, Paetro, Fishbone Diagrams and liaise with internal departments to rectify quality issues in a speedy and efficient manner.


    Main activities:
    *Maintain and Implement IATF 16949 Quality System*Carryout quality audits for IATF & VDA systems*Support the maintenance of site accreditation IATF & VDA systems.*Ensure action plans are in place for follow up and resolution of any non-conformities found.*Co-ordinate and manage the engineering change process through weekly meetings*Control and manage internal non-conforming parts/supplier rejects system and non-conforming area.*Monitor internal scrap and help conduct scrap improvement activities with Process and Manufacturing Engineers.
    Ideally candidates will be educated to minimum of HNC level with relevant quality systems management experience.

    You will have vast knowledge of IATF16949/VDA and will have worked within the automotive manufacturing arena, either first or second tier supplier.
