    What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Establish a sound foundation for each project, ensuring that there is a clear understanding from the outset of the mandate, approach, and critical success factors
  • Establish the governance processes that will support the delivery of the project lifecycle including solution design, testing, and commissioning and implementation
  • Support during and after go-live, taking responsibility for ensuring the result is handed over to and accepted by operations
  • Complete a detailed post implementation report and leading a peer review process to share information and opportunities for improvement with the rest of the team
  • What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience as a Project Manager within a transport or logistics environment, preferably 3PL
  • A project management qualification, Prince 2, APM PMQ or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills, you'll be an effective influencer and communicator, able to build relationships both internally and externally
  • A well organised, structured and methodical approach, able to manage multiple projects at times
