BI Developer

Our client, a leading central London trust, are looking for an experienced BI developer, to play a pivotal role in supporting a programme of improvements across their Business Intelligence function.

The BI developer will work as an integral part of the Reporting Technology Team and support the Senior Business Intelligence Developer in building and maintaining reporting layer datasets, and ensuring the BIU database areas holds accurate and reliable informationto meet the business needs of the Trust.

The post-holder will assist in gathering data requirements, ETL development, testing, documentation, change control and maintenance of datasets.

The post-holder will support other members of the Reporting Technology team within the Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) in areas such as (but not limited to):

Running and maintaining routine data loads and metric production in a SQL server data warehouse (including using Visual Studio).
SSIS
Assisting in the maintenance of new data feeds, data loads, processes and reporting, which may involve liaising with colleagues within and outside of the BIU.
Troubleshooting data, process or reporting issues.
Improving and innovating data process and/or reports.
Any other tasks to assist members of the team.
Support the monthly IPR (Integrated Performance Report) process.
