    The company is a leading name in the FMCG industry, with a long-standing site in Buckinghamshire. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing team. This pivotal role involves leading a team of sales professionals and reporting directly to the Commercial Director.     Responsibilities:

    • Sales Strategy building: Work closely with the Senior Director to develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives and customers development plan.
    • Sales Strategy implementation: Insure the best execution of the sales strategy in line with the Business growth strategy in term of customers (in Retail & Food service) & products
    • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Develop potential new customers.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Sales Target Achievement: Drive the team towards achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities, track competitor activities, and stay abreast of industry trends.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports and analyses to the Commercial Director from top line & bottom-line performances.
    • New Business Development: Explore and capitalise on new business opportunities to expand market share.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, supply chain to ensure cohesive and effective business strategies, especially around volume forecasting processes.
    • Budget Management: Responsible for managing and optimising the sales budget to maximise ROI. Ensure business profitability at customer & product level.
    The keys challenges :
    • Reinforcing the customer relationship : key pivot for a sustainable growth; being seen a the most customer oriented suppliers, focusing on the excellence in execution & service level.
    • Developing the top & bottom line through an horizontal & vertical growth of the Business: New customers, New channels, new products in a very active and growing category in the UK.
    • Growing the team in term of autonomy, professionalism & results focused: supporting, guiding, structuring : KPI management, decision making, Action Plan & results driven.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the food or FMCG industry in retail & Food service, ideally.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
