    Description

    Independent Prescriber Pharmacist – Cardiff - Cancer Centre

    Hunter Gatherer have a rare opportunity to join a world-leading cancer services hospital in the Cardiff area. The Chief Pharmacist is on the lookout for a pharmacist to join the division on a full-time locum basis. The post holder will be responsible for reviewing patients and assessing their suitability to continue with relevant chemotherapy treatments. They will also prescribe chemotherapy and supportive medication for a multiple groups of patients including those with suffering from breast & colon cancers.

    Working hours are 9am-5pm w/ 30-minute break – 7.5 working hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. Flexible days are acceptable depending on how the CV lands with the department – this is a 6-month contract initially with option to extend.

    PLEASE NOTE: Only GPhC-registered pharmacists will be eligible for this position. ChemoCare experience is required for this position and this post CANNOT be done remotely.

    – £32-42 per hour depending on banding and prior experience
