We're looking for a
Desktop Support
Team Lead to join our team on a permanent basis in Aberdeen.

In this
Desktop
Support
Team Lead role, you will provide day to day management of a local Desktop Support function, coordinating priorities and escalations, mentoring the team and providing hands on support.


What you'll do

  • Coordinate the daytoday work activities (operational and project) across team members
  • Act as the technical and delivery point of escalation and liaison for the team and stakeholders
  • Manage the oncall and shift rotas ensuring appropriate cover
  • Undertake ownership of Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management processes
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) achievement
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of activities
  • Promote and manage Continual Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives

  • Good knowledge of relevant IT industry standards and trends
  • ITIL Foundation and/or have experience of working within an environment which has adopted ITIL methodology, in particular incident and problem management
