Description
Are you a friendly and caring person seeking a new position with great job satisfaction within a care home that can support you in your career with progression and education support?Remedicare are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist for our clients care home.
This care home have opportunities for an Occupational Therapist who can work based in Milton Keynes.As an Occupational Therapist at this care home, you will need to work as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team providing occupational therapy input within the BIRT neurobehavioural model to residents with acquired brain injuries.

Hours: 35 hours per weekPay: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum DOERequirements: * Passionate about Brain Injury and Stroke treatment * HCPC Registered * Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy * An understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and an alignment to Brainkind values.
* Full Driving licence and access to own vehicleResponsibilities: * To work within a specialist clinical area as an autonomous professional, using and developing skills and knowledge in neurological rehabilitation with support and supervision of a more senior OT.
* Use interpersonal skills and empathy to engage with residents and families who may be resistant to the rehabilitation process or may be distressed.
* To carry out detailed risk assessments and ensure that these are regularly reviewed and updated and communicate this with the team effectively * To adhere to the RCOT Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and HCPC Standards of Conduct, performance and ethics.
