The Role
•
• Looking for Network specialist to configure, implement services with strong understanding of how to navigate technical and architectural discussions for Data Centre hosting and migration.
• Experience in Network operations/Design/Solution/Implementation support .
• Need strong background in networking, SaaS and security. Deep understanding of IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS protocols,
• Palo Alto and FortiGate firewall & various firewall background and hybrid cloud integration is mandate.
• Experience with Proxy and SSL is essential.
Your Profile
Key skills/knowledge/experience:
• Experience:
o 12 to 15 years of experience in Network operations/Design/Solution/Implementation support for UK/Europe/US based account
• Technical Skills:
o Good knowledge in Network Security, Palo Alto Firewall, Fortinet Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer and Juniper switches.
o Good knowledge in handling FortiGate & Palo Alto from CLI and Panorama
o Good Knowledge in WAF module on F5-Big IP platform Application Security Manager (ASM)
o Good Knowledge in ICA Proxy , Reverse Proxy on F5-Big IP platform.
o Should have good understanding of Routing and Switching concepts
o Good knowledge on Palo Alto Threat Prevention services.
o Good Knowledge on Palo Alto DLP ( Data Prevention loss ) technologies
o Should have good troubleshooting and Implementation skills in IPsec and Any connect VPN, ACL, NAT, PAT and Security policies
o Good understanding of FortiGate & Palo Alto URL based ACL's and Filters
o Hands on in TCP dump capture, packet analysis and analyzing with Wireshark filters
o Expert Python scripting knowledge
o Security infrastructure experience pertaining to Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxies, Enterprise Log Management, Load-Balancers, WAFs, DNS/IP management and VPN.
o Excellent verbal, written, and collaborative interpersonal communication skills
o Understanding of network security concepts and best practices
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relating to network security technologies.
o Should have good knowledge in Transparent and context based Firewalls
o Good understanding of Splunk and Splunk forwarders.
o Good knowledge on Failover and VPN high availability
o Good understanding in LDAP and other two factor authentication standards and implementations
o Knowledge and open minded to suggest Global security best Practices
• Other Network technologies:
o Working experience with infrastructure as code building CI/CD pipelines, from a greenfield scenario.
o Ability to assist DevOps team in networking requests.
o Familiarity with GIT or similar version control systems.
o Good experience and understanding of Infoblox design and architecture.
o Good hands on in configuring Infoblox.
o Azure Governance, Compliance and Security best practice
o Qualifications:
Having any of the following certifications would be an advantage:
o Certifications like CCNP, CCIE are desired.
o Palo Alto Certified
o Fortinet Certified
Good to have:
o Routinely interact with clients and internal teams such as developers and analyst teams.
o Ability to work with 3rd party vendors, OEMs and Product suppliers.
o Knowledge on Contracts and SLAs.
o Good knowledge in ITIL process.
o Good automation skills
