Salary scale:
£39,888- £50,000 per annum


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Advisor to join our People and Inclusion team on a 9-month fixed term contract.

This is a generalist role that will support the Senior People Partners and the People Operations Manager with a wide variety of people related activities.


The main responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and advising managers on a wide variety of generalist people matters.
  • Managing our employee relations, covering disciplinaries, grievances, and performance improvement.
  • Providing endtoend family leave processes and documentation (Maternity, Paternity, Shared Parental and Adoption Leave).
  • Undertaking absence monitoring and managing the Occupational Health process to support team members and their managers in making reasonable adjustments.
  • Maintaining and updating our policies and guidance documents, in line with our policy review plan.
  • Supporting the job evaluation and benchmarking process.
  • Engaging with data analytics and providing analysis to the wider tea
  • Supporting the People Operations Manager with recruitment, payroll and administrative activities, as required.
  • Supporting the wider HR team with adhoc project work.


To be considered for the role it is essential you have a good understanding of UK employment legislation, combined with recent practical experience of handling and resolving employee relations and performance issues.

We also need someone who has genuine people skills, who is adaptable and has the ability to be proactive, methodical and diligent in their approach to work.

This is a busy and demanding role and requires someone who enjoys working under pressure and to tight deadlines. The full job description is available on request.
