    Ibcos is part of Dealer UK, which is a part of Perseus, a division of Constellation Software, a publicly traded company that acquires, manages, and grows business software companies all over the world.

    The Product Team are part of the R&D function. The Product Team consists of a Product Director, Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Lead and Content Manager. This role will report directly to the Product Director leading and managing a small team of Product Owners.

    Job Overview

    Ibcos are modernising our comprehensive Dealer Management System (DMS) suite of software products with the objective of ensuring we maintain are our market leading position and grow through the delivery of amazing software solutions to real business needs.

    This person in this role will take responsibility for the modernisation programme which aims to take the existing software package into the browser-based world using industry leading tools, techniques, and user centred design to deliver a world leading user experience.

    As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product lifecycle for assigned products working with a team of Product Owners to deliver value to customers and the business.

    You will work closely with other teams within the business to understand the needs of our customers as experienced by these teams.

    You will build relationships with customers and their users enabling ideas and developments to be validated at the earliest opportunity and successfully delivered.

    You will champion user centricity and lean approaches to product development, validation, implementation, launch and in service support.

    You will work with design and content colleagues to ensure our software products have an amazing user experience.

    In collaboration with our Product Director, you will contribute to the product strategy and roadmap.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, coach, mentor and drive a team of Product Owners.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the Dealer Management domain for the product areas assigned.
    • Gain a deep understanding of the Ibcos customer experience as well as the back-office processes and utilities that support it.
    • Be the voice of the customer and user within the business.
    • Own the product roadmap for your assigned products.
    • Own new products and enhancements to existing, from ideation through to in service and replacement/retirement using lean and agile methods.
    • Ensure commercial models are created and managed in line with business strategy and ensure return on investment is achieved.
    • Work with Product Design to research and design solutions that solve problems and add value.
    • Work collaboratively to deliver user stories including writing, refining, elaborating, planning, reviewing, and showcasing.
    • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog.
    • Track releases and manage any business-related dependencies.
    • Participate in daily scrum meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions.
    • Support the development team with any questions they may have.
    • Champion Agile and lean ways of working across the business.
    • Use data to drive evidence-based decision making throughout the product development process.
    • Overcome project impediments and report regularly on progress.

    Qualifications Required

    Essential – educated to Degree standard or have equivalent work experience, excellent written and spoken English, at demonstrable experience in a similar role.

    Desirable – Certified Scrum Product Owner or Professional Scrum Product Owner.

    Experience Required

    Essential: Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner/Manager

    Essential: Demonstrable experience of leading a product team including day-to-day line management, leading by example and demonstrating ownership and commitment to business objectives.

    Essential: Experience working closely with development teams on a daily basis across multiple locations – UK and other.

    Essential: Excellent working knowledge of Agile methodologies in particular scrum.

    Essential: Experience managing customer-facing digital journeys.

    Essential: Experience working in a fast-paced environment picking up role-adjacent responsibilities when required.

    Essential: Skilled at meeting facilitation and presentation.

    Essential: Experience of the end-to-end software development lifecycle

    Essential: Experience of Agile requirement gathering techniques e.g. Specification by Example, Story Mapping, JTBD.

    Essential: Experience in team leadership and management including performance reviews and career development planning.

    Desirable: Experience delivering modernised software modules in an iterative user engaged fashion.

    Desirable: Experience in Human Centred Design methods and tools (e.g. Luma).

    Desirable: Recent knowledge and experience of dealer management or ERP processes in any of the following areas: Sales, Accounts, Parts, Service, Rental.

    Desirable: Experience working with on-premise and cloud software solutions.

    Desirable: Experience using the Atlassian suite of software modules (Confluence, Jira, Trello and Tempo) to manage product delivery.
