Overview:


  • As a member of the Transactional Legal Services Team dedicated to Reed Smith LLP responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Due Diligence of legal documents relating to corporate and financial transactions.
  • Creating and managing data rooms.
  • Completion work including DocuSign.
  • Drafting legal documents using precedents.
  • Amending and redacting legal documents.
  • Preparing bibles and drafting indices.
  • Working closely with Reed Smith fee earners to provide general, ad hoc support under instruction.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve legal processes and articulating the case for making the change.
  • Ensuring the quick and efficient delivery of work to meet strict deadlines.
  • Working flexibly and actively seeking opportunities to learn new legal processes including working with legal technology.

Experience/Skills/Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Interest in delivering legal services, continuous improvement and working with technology.
  • Languages highly desirable (particularly fluent French, German, Spanish and Russian).

  • Attend internal training and external training as and when required.
  • Contribute freely and creatively to business improvement projects.
