Contract to start until with a possible extension.


MAIN PURPOSE:


To undertake the collection, collation and reporting of data and information to support performance management of Children and Education or Adults and Housing services.


To provide data and information to support needs analysis, strategy development and business planning for Children and Education or Adults and Housing services.


To support the analysis of data and information which enhances the understanding of practitioners, managers and elected members in respect of Children and Education or Adults and Housing services.


To undertake the collection, collation and submission of statutory returns and collections in respect of Children and Education or Adults and Housing services.

To provide data and information for the SLA with schools (Children and Education postholders).

To provide data and information in respect of integrated adults and health services (Adults and Housing postholders)

To provide data and information for commissioning and contract monitoring purposes.


SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


To produce regular, reliable and understandable performance information for staff, operational and senior managers and elected members in line with performance management frameworks.


To undertake reporting and analysis of data and information as requested by the Performance Team Manager including weekly and monthly performance oversight and analysis reports inc performance digests; annual analyses of statutory returns; deep dives.


To liaise directly with operational managers and staff in respect of performance data and information providing coaching, training and support eg in the use of IT systems and software and in understanding reports.


To provide timely and accurate statistical information for statutory returns and collections (eg SSDA 903; CiN Census; Schools Census; SEN2; DtOCs; etc).

To provide data and information required for inspection and peer review purposes, including contributing to self
- evaluation and position statements.


To participate in business process mapping and ICT system development to ensure all key data can be collected for performance management and statutory return purposes.

To participate in routine data cleansing processes and exercises.

To produce data and information specified in the SLA with schools (Children and Education postholders).

To produce data and information in respect of integrated adults and health services (Adults and Housing postholders)

To undertake ongoing liaison with operational and commissioned services in respect of data and information.

To respond to ad hoc requests for data and information as directed by the Performance Team Manager.


To undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the post, as required to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Department / Section.
