    Leadership Spine L8 – L12 £56,082 - £61,882

    The Governors of this very popular and over-subscribed school are seeking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Head Teacher with a proven track record of high quality teaching and the passion, enthusiasm and resilience to lead and further enhance our school.

    Having retained 'Good' (November 2021) in our most recent Ofsted inspection and following a recent successful SIAMS inspection, we are looking for someone to support the Headteacher to drive the school forward. Sharing in our vision for improvement you will work alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to build on achievements of the school.

    The role of Deputy Headteacher will teach no more than 0.5FTE so this role is perfect for an applicant looking to broaden their skills in leadership and whole school improvement. The role will have responsibilities for a core subject area and Safeguarding amongst the strategic focus on assessment.

    • Successful teaching experience across more than one phase/more than one school Experience of leading teams and/or variety of curriculum areas

    • Motivation and enthusiasm about pupil's learning
    • Effective collaboration and teamwork- inspiring and leading by example
    • A clear drive and ambition
    • A proven track record in driving standards and securing improvements for children
    • A robust knowledge and understanding of data and assessment; and how the use of data can inform teaching and learning
    • Team ethics and one who is passionate, adaptable and flexible and on their journey to Headship
