We're looking to offer a salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

• Delivery of transport training & SAFE driver assessments across the Transport department
• Scheduling & delivery of all transport training
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, taking appropriate measures to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Stay current on transportation laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks
• Manage all responsibilities that are associated to having direct reports, including regular 1-1's, appraisals, personal development plans, absence and disciplinary activities along with the overall effectiveness of the job roles within the department

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience in a training leadership role within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Experience in safety leadership, with the ability to promote a culture of safety, implementing effective safety protocols, and fostering continuous improvement in safety practices across transport operations.
• Strong knowledge of transportation operations, safety regulations, and legal compliance.
• Must hold at least LGV1 License
