    Sales Manager North Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordics)

    ENVEA is a world class manufacturer of environmental and process management hardware and software solutions. Our equipment and technologies encompass gas analysers, dust monitors, bulk solids measurement, flue gas flow meters, and air quality monitoring systems, alongside data processing and reporting solutions.

    ENVEA has a long-standing presence in the UK and is actively restructuring and refocusing the business, to increase our commercial presence in this and adjacent strategically important markets. Reflecting the opportunity for growth, ENVEA wish to appoint a Sales Manager for North Europe (UK, Ireland, Nordics)

    Specifically, the territory will be UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland. The purpose of the role is to define, develop and execute sales plans and initiatives that ensure that current and future growth targets are met for the entire ENVEA portfolio within the defined territory. ENVEA currently has a well-defined direct sales team in the UK and sells in the other territories though distribution partners.

    The Sales Manager North Europe is expected to develop growth plans for the region, identify new routes to market, review existing channels and ensure plans are met. The role holder should not feel constrained by pre-existing arrangements. A key part of this role is to assess performance and make investment recommendations to grow market share across all markets.

    The candidate is expected to have a background in instrumentation or other technically advanced product sales from within at least part of the target market and possess a demonstrable track record of achieving challenging sales targets and delivering market share growth. A strong understanding of industrial processes, environmental legislation, and an ability to create contacts and leads across many industries is required.

    The candidate will be expected to provide market intelligence and insight back to the Executive Management of ENVEA. A candidate with the ability to develop into broader senior management roles would find this role of interest.

    The role holder must have a strong understanding of North European business culture and the ability to build relationships at all levels within an organisation. Strong communication skills, both spoken and written are essential.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and implement a plan that identifies a path for growth within the defined territory.
    • Work with the Regional Sales Director to develop a strategy for the growth covering the entire ENVEA portfolio.
    • Consistently achieve annual Sales and Service revenue targets for the territory.
    • Ensure that ENVEA IT chosen CRM, Salesforce is updated and used to track performance, to enable all communications within the market to be correctly recorded and reported.
    • Drive measurable year on year growth into the market through innovative approaches, identifying and delivering on new opportunities to create tangible sales.
    • Manage and support the regionally distributed UK field sales team, ensuring key targets and deliverables are and met.
    • Manage and support the Distribution channels across the territory.
    • Put in place performance metrics for all channels (direct and indirect) and use them to evaluate the need for changes.
    • Support the release of new products and technologies into the market.
    • Identify and deliver new services and service-based revenue streams.
    • Represent the business at exhibitions, seminars, trade association meetings and other external meetings as required.
    • Identify, develop, and deliver new routes to market, including new product opportunities which could be sold via existing or new channels to market.
    • Coordinate marketing strategies, including direct campaigns, webinars, seminars, and other related tools to support the growth plans.
    • Ensure high levels of customer service through efficient and timely responses to enquires, with technical and applications expertise for the ENVEA Group product range.
    • Investigate and analyse trends and events in target markets, to enable the Sales Team to maximise current sales and the Product Management team to ensure future portfolio development is aligned with future opportunities.
    • Perform any other duties as may reasonably be required as business circumstances dictate.

    • Key sectors applicable to ENVEA's portfolio, including Ambient, Emissions, regulatory compliance, process monitoring and control solutions.
    • Broad, multi-sector industrial application insights.
    • European Air Quality and Emission regulatory framework and how it relates to the UK and Europe.
    • The procurement and approval processes used by buyers.
    • Good understanding of the sales process: how to win and close sales.
    • Sales team management and leadership: how to direct and motivation a regionally based sales team to deliver the revenue targets and growth that is required.

    Location

    It would be advantageous for the candidate to be located within a commutable distance to one of ENVEA' s locations within UK (Cambridge, Tranmere)

    A Relocation package would be available as would a possible remote working arrangement

    Regular travel within the territory will be required, with occasional travel within Europe to other ENVEA locations as the business requires.
