    Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is proud to be working with a Public Sector organisation whose vision is to make Wales the place of choice for health, care and wellbeing innovation.

    This organisation is at an exciting stage of its development, implementing a more strategic and focussed approach to their key partnership work and are therefore looking to appoint a Partnerships Delivery Manager.

    Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, you will play a crucial role in supporting key partnerships across industry, health and social care providers, academia, government, professional bodies and support agencies.

    You will be able to support and maintain successful partnerships and bringing an in-depth appreciation for the challenges in health and social care and a developed understanding of the innovation adoption ecosystem.

    Proven project management skills such as a PRINCE2 qualification.

    Ideally, the postholder will have ecosystem expertise - with a network of industry, health, social care, and academic contacts to generate a pipeline of healthcare innovation and opportunities.

    Experience of convening, leading, and participating in multi-party collaborative projects, specifically a track record of healthcare innovation project delivery in multiple-stakeholder settings.

    Commercial knowledge of working with industry partners to deliver innovative solutions.

    By working in partnership, their work helps the well-being of people living in Wales, propelling innovations into mainstream use, also generating growth, jobs and prosperity.

    You will be responsible for delivering your own portfolio of partnership activity plans across the innovation healthcare ecosystem and will work with stakeholders across the public, private and charitable sectors and through effective account management will maintain strong relationships to deliver the organisation's portfolio of varied partnerships that contribute to their organisational outputs and consequently outcomes and impact for people in Wales.

    Applying key account management principles, the Partnerships Manager will identify and nurture a strong pipeline of healthcare innovation opportunities to tackle unmet health and social care needs, accelerate the adoption of healthcare technologies, system and process and create sustainable business growth and job creation in Wales.

    Stakeholder Management - Engage with key assets and develop detailed understanding of key activities across the health and care innovation ecosystem.

    Support the delivery of communication and events plan through attendance and delivering presentations at internal and external meetings, events, and conferences.

    This will, at times, require travel across Wales, the UK and Internationally.

    Contribute to the development and maintenance of health and care ecosystem maps and pathways to support all innovation adoption activities.

    Build and nurture relationships with a portfolio of healthcare companies, clinical and academic partners showing endeavour for exploring and implementing innovative solutions in technology, system and process that help address unmet heath or social care needs.

    Identify the needs, challenges, opportunities, new developments, and emergent ideas to drive delivery of, and support innovative health life sciences solutions aligned to key impact areas.

    Partnerships Management - Planning: produce the proposal, budget, aims and objectives (outputs, outcomes, and benefits) and ensure that the planning is realistic (measurable, reportable and verifiable).


    Implementation:

    Regularly review and track progress against milestones and take corrective action where required, raising issues with the Head of Partnerships.


    Monitoring and Reporting:
    regular collection and analysis of information to track progress and measure performance against expected results.

    Produce accurate performance monitoring reports, designed to ensure they provide a comprehensive, targeted, rounded, recognisable view of progress in terms of delivery of strategic aims and objectives.

    Work with the Funding Service team to identify opportunities to secure additional resource.
    Work with the Economic Development team to refer opportunities focused on economic growth.

    Work with sector intelligence colleagues to develop a knowledge bank of market intelligence that can be utilised in support of future projects, plans and funding bids.
