    Maintenance Engineer

    VANRATH are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the pre-emptive and reactive maintenance of our client's production line and facilities.

    The Package

    £40,000
    Plus Additional Package

    The Client

    Our client is a significant presence in the agri-food sector, supplying Northern Ireland and mainland UK. They have undergone steady growth since conception over 50 years ago and are now a well-recognised brand in stores and supermarkets across the country.

    Due to their growth, they now find themselves in a position to focus on the efficiency of their operation, minimising down time and maximising productivity.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
    • Create and maintain maintenance schedules
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
    • Supervise and co-ordinate maintenance activities with external contractors as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with both standards set by the company and external bodies e.g. BRC.

    About you

    • Third level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • Minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance Engineering
