Description

Are you a data enthusiast with experience in CRM development, implementation, and continuous improvement? Do you enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to achieve their data-driven goals? If so, this is your chance to make a real impact at the West Midlands Combined Authority.


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data and CRM Officer to support the delivery of Business Growth West Midlands (BGWM) data capture, recording, analysis, and presentation.

You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, developing data management solutions, and translating data into actionable insights for business growth.


What you will be doing

  • Actively participate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the WMCA CRM and data management systems
  • Oversee data collection and ensure its accuracy and timeliness for the BGWM service.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop standardised data solutions under the guidance of the CRM Manager
  • Provide highquality data capturing and reporting aligned with funding and management information requirements.
  • Effectively communicate and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including understanding formulas, setting up, and managing workbooks.

Please note this is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2025

About you

  • Proven experience in CRM development, implementation, and continuous improvement
  • Expertise in translating data into actionable management information.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GDPR issues in a business context
  • Ability to present CRM data in a meaningful and impactful manner.
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Confidence in using Excel, including formula creation, workbook setup, and management.
  • Deliveryoriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines
