    Looking for

    We seek a Bid manager with an electrical background to play a pivotal role in our sales team. The successful candidate will focus on international lighting projects for airports, ports, and sports facilities. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of electrical systems, particularly lighting, and will be instrumental in supporting sales strategies through accurate cost estimation and technical expertise.

    Requirements

    • Exhibit a self-starter attitude, proactively collaborating with the sales team to devise cost-effective solutions for lighting projects.
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates to support sales proposals, including materials, labour, equipment, and other related expenses.
    • Work alongside engineering and design teams to ensure project proposals are technically sound and feasible.
    • Analyse technical documents (e.g., tender specifications and construction drawings) to provide accurate estimates of costs.
    • Engage with suppliers and contractors to obtain and evaluate quotes and bids, negotiating favourable terms where possible.
    • Regularly update project estimates based on project progress and market changes.
    • Prepare tender documents that contribute to successful bid submissions.
    • Offer clients and internal teams' technical guidance, improving understanding and decision-making.
    • ·Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in lighting.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree level or equivalent background in electrical systems Demonstrable experience as an electrical estimator, outdoor lighting sector is preferred)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and a large network of international partners
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
