£12.18 per hour rising to £12.38 per hour on successful completion of training and probation period

About you:

You will be a person with a 'can-do' attitude.

You will have an ability to develop positive relationships with people and be passionate in supporting people to reach their potential.

You'll want to make a positive difference to people's lives and take pride in delivering high quality support.

You'll have a belief that people have a right to control and define their own lives regardless of disability and see your role as enabling them to do this by supporting them to engage in a wide range of activities and opportunities both within our centres and in the wider community.

About the role:


You will be working alongside a team of staff in one of our 11 Learning Disability Day Service bases in Bury, with usual hours of work between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.


As a support worker, you'll support people with personal care and to do the things they choose to do, both indoors and out in the community, on public transport and doing things like swimming, voluntary work, dance or sports.

This is a physical job where there is a requirement to move and position people, some of whom use wheelchairs.
