Description

NRL are currently recruiting for Turbine Mechanics to work on behalf of multiple clients in the Nuclear and Gas Power Generation sector on power plant outages across the UK.

Responsibilities include:

• Dismantle, assemble, move, align, repair, and undertake preventative and corrective maintenance of turbine and generator components such as blades, rotors and casings, auxiliaries & pumps, bearings and generator Hydrogen Seals.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for work procedures.
• Conduct material and machine inspections with precision measurements tools like micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches.
• Contribute to setting to work processes and briefings.
• Adhere to site and client safety protocols including the completion of all necessary documentation.
• Other duties as required

Experience & Qualifications:

• Recognised Apprenticeship or Equivalent Recognised Training Qualification
• NVQ or Equivalent in Mechanical Studies
• CCNSG Safety Passport as minimum
• Knowledge in rotating & static plant and machinery
