Role Summary:

This role will manage the materials, equipment and storage locations.

Ensure that the materials department service all internal and external customers with delivery of all required materials, equipment and consumables on time and in full.

Work within Heatric HSE rules and guidelines ensuring all material movements and acts are completed safely and within company HSE regulations and policies


Core Responsibilities:

Manage stock inventory/levels of all maintenance spare parts

Complete/update weekly cycle counts or raw materials

Pick sheets for production requirements / demand

Manage all materials delivered/dispatched to/from Heatric HLD and other suppliers and all incoming / outgoing consumables

Maintain ERP System - booking/amendments and closing works orders, update and maintain stock records and transactions within Excel or ERP

Maintain stock records and associated locations with all inward and outward movement of materials for all storage locations, Identify materials and store using the agreed location system

Maintain high 6's standards within Unit 7 and provide support throughout the department ensuring a high level of all HSE requirements are met

Take away all returned materials and follow the agreed processes to return materials to the correct warehouse/production location to ensure the continual flow of materials and WIP

Inspection of complex parts on receipt of delivery, including inspection of material certification, verify documents received for accuracy and completion


Job Specifications:


Minimum Experience

Area of Experience:

  • FLT license, Counterbalance and confidence moving heavy materials
  • Experience of managing and inspecting materials in a stores environment
2-4 years of experience within a production/manufacturing environment


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities List

  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP tools and systems
  • Ability to carry out High Level Fork lift truck activities
  • Good written communication and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Must be able to work on own initiative
