We have a fantastic opportunity in Leeds for a Prepper, you will be working within our busy team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.


Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Prepper at our Preparation Centre Site.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support.

What we Offer

  • Work shift Pattern is 08:00pm 17:30pm, Monday
  • Friday
Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week

  • Salary Base: £35,360 per annum (based on experience)

  • Uniform given, heated workshop and parking on site

Duties and responsibilities

  • Prepping vehicles prior to painting
  • Masking vehicles prior to painting
  • Filler work
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards
  • Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping

What we are looking for

  • Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
  • Time management, planning skills and problem solving skills
  • Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
  • Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
  • Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
  • Ability to work as part of a Team
  • Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
  • A full, valid UK driving licence is required
