    Description
    Are you a qualified Finance Manager/Controller with a good knowledge of SAP, looking for a senior finance role with a globally renowned Leeds based business?

    I delighted to now be recruiting for a Divisional Financial Controller role working for a well known, global manufacturing business who have key offices based in Leeds


    The role will head up the finance team for one of the key UK divisions in Leeds overseeing a team of 3-4, and will be the main point of contact for the division, working closely with senior managers and stakeholders across the business.


    Working on SAP, the role will be responsible for the divisional budget, full preparation of the P&L, monthly forecasting, reviewing contracts and project work.


    The role will be commercially and projects focused, and therefore requires someone with strong communication and influencing skills, who enjoys working across functions with non-finance stakeholders.

    Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key duties of the role will include:

    To support in all aspects of managing the financial performance of the divison.
    Prepare regional financial performance information.
    To support the Finance Director by supplying information to allow consolidated reporting to take place.
    To develop and appraise the performance of 2 direct reports
    To prepare financial statements and management information.
    To prepare rolling monthly forecasts and quarterly year end forecasts.
    To support cash collection and manage debtor days via the central credit control Team.
    To prepare annual budgets by working with the profit centre managers to ensure Ownership.
    To ensure that all Internal Control Systems are enforced within
    To support Sales Managers and Project Managers in interpreting and understanding the financial accounts.
    To analyse financial data and convert into meaningful management information.
    To oversee the submission of KPI reporting.
    To monitor and control WIP, Capex spend and Commissions.


    The successful candidate will:
    Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified - Essential
    Have a good working knowledge of SAP - Essential
    Have previous experience in manufacturing - Desirable
    Have a minimum of 5 years experience in management accounts - Essential
