The Opportunity:

A Pan-European Private Equity business dedicated to the Renewable Energy sector is seeking an Energy Management Associate for their European portfolio of Solar PV, Wind and BESS Storage projects. The role will account for, among others, the portfolio hedging strategy definition and execution, commercial strategy and activity, global markets analysis and modelisation, revenue optimization, and the strategy determination for new ventures and business models.

The Role:

• Coordination of energy management activities in the UK in close collaboration with the Management Team.
• Market information, market participation, energy trading and business development.
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ongoing monitoring the UK energy market: regulations, development of energy mix, electricity price, generation and demand and new technological developments in the UK.
• Continuous coordination with the European Energy Management teams.

The Individual:

• University Degree in the fields of technology / energy / economics / business.
• 2-4 years of experience and understanding of the UK energy market, experience in strategic consulting or strategy-related position is an advantage.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and working with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of portfolio management and risk assessment.
• Exceptional analysis capabilities and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• European languages valued.
