    Role Purpose

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Infrastructure & Environment to provide support to Secondary School Craft, Design & Technology departments.

    The role will provide expertise and support in the development of technician services and organising and undertaking the inspection, testing and maintenance of equipment to ensure compliance with Health & Safety.

    You will deliver training and promote best practice whilst acting as an interface with technicians and schools and represent Scottish Borders Council at Scottish Technical Advisory Council meetings.

    Essential


    Experience of technical maintenance and inspection and SVQ or equivalent qualification in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

    A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
