    Procurement Manager | Central London/ Hybrid Working home based (x2 days in office, x3 working from home) Up to £57,000 per annum + benefits.

    Overview:

    This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a Procurement role with variety This well recognised housing association brand who are growing their Procurement team and looking for a Procurement Manager to work across a variety of spend. Generalist procurement experience and PCR 15 experience is crucial to this role.

    A broader commercial procurement approach, innovative thinking and collaborative approach will be successful in this role. The team are also developing plans around social value, sustainability, ESG so this is a brilliant opportunity to be involved in further carving this out.

    What the role involves:

    • Deliver the procurement programme through an effective business partnering approach.
    • Manage procurement projects in compliance with agreed policies, procedures and the contracts register.
    • Report to the Senior Procurement Manager on all aspects of business activities within the relevant Procurement remit, including advising of new and innovative changes to the supply markets.
    • Manage the commercial negotiation with suppliers and deliver contract management support.
    • Manage strategic relationships with supplier, identify opportunities and improvements to contract lifecycle.
    • Ensure that contracts are delivered in compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements i.e. Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR's).

    The person we hope to find:

    • End to end procurement experience across indirect or direct services
    • Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and stakeholders
    • Ideally Public sector procurement background with experience in a highly regulated environment
    • Experience of Public Contract Regulations is a must
    • Experience of developing and embedding third party management frameworks
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritise quickly
    • Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with minimal supervision
    • Commercially aware and financially astute
