We are looking for a sheet metal fabricator for an engineering firm who are based on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk.


The company have recently done a business wide overhaul where they are looking to grow their team to meet current orders.

You need experience on a brake press to be considered for this role.


The company specialise in the automotive industry so anyone who has previous engineering experience on cars, vans, lorries, trailers etc would be of extreme interest, however this is not essential.

The company take on a wide range of different projects for various industries.


Sheet metal worker duties:
-


  • Able to read & work from engineering drawings
  • Operate & run a CNC press brake
  • Use of hand & power tools
  • Able to operate basic fabrication machinery, i.e., guillotine, drills, saws etc.
  • Work within a time frame to ensure orders are met
  • Always adhere to the company's health & safety policies


As a sheet metal fabricator, you will also ideally you will also have experience working on the punch press, but this is not essential.

Anyone with welding experience would be of extreme interest but this is not essential for the role.

Core hours are 08:00-16:30, with an earlier finish on a Friday.
