    JOB TITLE: SEN Tutor

    LOCATION: East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham

    JOB TYPE: Temporary, Part-Time

    PRIMARY INDUSTRY: Education and Training

    SALARY: £85 - £95 Per day

    Looing for a passionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Tutor to join a great team at a chilrens home.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
    • Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs
    • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' learning experience
    • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and personal development

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    • Experience working with students with SEN
    • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

    EDUCATION:

    A relevant degree in Education or a related field

    EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • Strong understanding of SEN principles and best practises
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
    • Training in specific learning difficulties (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD)

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Part-Time hours, temporary position
    • Work in a classroom or one-on-one setting with students
    • Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and other professionals
