    An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our growing Performance Team.

    We are seeking an Administrator to provide support to the teams and members of the Adult Mental Health services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

    Applicants will be expected to complete an administration Customer Service Qualification and will be required to hold 4 GCSE (or equivalent) grade A-D (including Maths and English).

    Applicants must not hold a level 2 or equivalent qualification in a similar subject.

    This is a fixed term post for 15 months working full time Mon-Fri, 9-5 and is an excellent introduction into the NHS gaining a valuable qualification and experience along the way.

    You will be part of the growing Performance Team, providing essential administrative support through completing a wide range of tasks.

    The performance team work with a variety of services providing vital performance related support and helping the teams achieve their Key Performance Indicators and targets.

    You will gain quality administrative experience, an understanding of NHS processes and systems and a detailed understanding of the variety of Teams within the Adult Mental Health Service while gaining a valuable Customer Service qualification.

    Administration duties specific to the role.
    Providing support as required e.g.

    typing, data input, inbox management, liaison with a variety of NHS professionals and colleagues, maintaining accurate records and problem solving.

    You will be provided with training and support to enable you to reach your full potential.
    4 GCSE (or equivalent) grade A-D (including Maths and English Language*) certificates must be provided during the recruitment process if you are the successful candidate
    ~ Must not have a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a similar subject e.g. diploma, NVQ
    ~ Must meet minimum requirements of training provider

    Work related experience of liaising with the public on the telephone and / or face to face
    Basic working knowledge of Microsoft packages

    Microsoft packages e.g. Excel and PowerPoint.
    Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Confidentiality

    Able to carry out basic clerical tasks following instruction
    Basic computer skills i.e. able to use e-mail and internet to send and retrieve information.
    Willingness to undertake and satisfactorily complete the Level 2 Apprenticeship in Business Administration within 12 months
    Willingness to participate fully in an apprenticeship training programme.
    Willingness and ability to travel to meet the demands of the post
