    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 position within the specialist cardiology ward on L10 Albion and Lewes.

    L10 is a busy, fast paced 31 bedded ward supporting patients with various Cardiac conditions including patients pre and post cardiac procedures and patients with chronic heart failure.

    We are looking for for an enthusiastic nurse with cardiac experience to provide day to day leadership of the ward. Working closely with the wards educational practitioner and ward leader to develop and support junior nursing staff.

    Main duties of the job

    The post would suit a dynamic individual with good leadership to coordinate the wards nursing teams daily activities. Relevant knowledge and clinical experience in cardiology is essential.

    Applicants must demonstrate evidence of recent professional development and having studied a Cardiology module (for example ECG module).

    You will be supported by the ward leader, practice educator and cardiac matron.
