    Job Title: Energy Solutions Business Manager (senior leadership position)

    Location: Brighton office twice/week with site visits

    Salary: Competitve DOE

    The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with a leading global energy solutions provider who are currently seeking an Energy Solutions Business Manager.

    Reporting directly into the Global Business Director, this role is responsible for spearheading the development and management of a comprehensive portfolio of green assets, renewable energy solutions and energy metering devices. Through your experience in sales and product management, you will drive business growth by identifying market opportunities, developing new products and executing strategic initiatives to expand on the clients growing presence within the renewable energy sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and champion a comprehensive business strategy to establish the company as a market player in renewable energy solutions, driving revenue growth and profitability.
    • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and customer needs in the renewable energy sector.
    • Drive product innovation and development by conceptualizing, prioritizing, and launching new renewable energy solutions (products and services) that address market demand.
    • Build and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to expand market reach, accelerate growth, and enhance the company's competitive position in the renewable energy market.
    • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to set strategic priorities, deploy go-to-market initiatives.
    • Establish and maintain key customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to drive value creation, address customer needs, and foster long-term partnerships.
    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the EMEA region.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements in renewable energy, sharing insights and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation.

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, marketing, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business management, strategic planning, product management, or sales leadership roles, with a focus on renewable energy solutions and green assets.
    • Demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing business strategies, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic and competitive markets.
    • Deep understanding of renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and industry trends, with expertise in PV solar, battery storage, inverters, and energy management systems.
    • Proven ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and customer relationships to achieve business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, financial metrics, and performance indicators to inform decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience working in a senior leadership role within a reputable renewable energy company or division, with a proven track record of driving business transformation and achieving strategic objectives.
    • Technical background or certifications in renewable energy technologies, project management, or sustainability.
    • Knowledge of energy markets, financing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks for renewable energy projects, including incentives, subsidies, and policy initiatives.
    • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including utilities, government agencies, industry associations, and advocacy groups, to shape policy, drive innovation, and advance the adoption of renewable energy.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, creativity, and risk-taking, coupled with a strong sense of accountability, integrity, and ethical conduct.
