    Project Director Rail Construction – USA – Horizontal Infrastructure - $200,000+ - Relocate from the UK

    Are you a seasoned project director ready to take on a new challenge?

    A huge player in the US infrastructure sector is searching for a talented individual to lead our single, complex, or mega projects to success while ensuring compliance with owner agreements and federal requirements.

    The business is expanding at an exponential rate and is at the forefront of the USA's high speed rail plans. They recognise the ability and experience of rail professionals in the UK is of world class standard and as such are looking for people to relocate to the US to spearhead these multibillion-dollar contracts

    As a Project Director, your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the project, from construction to budget management, to ensure alignment with project contracts and owner needs. You'll develop and manage project schedules, pay estimates, and procedures, collaborating with external managing partners and joint ventures to create a unified project plan.

    Engaging with project stakeholders, you'll proactively address concerns and assess project contracts, resolving conflicts and scheduling issues as needed. Safety will be a top priority, and you'll enforce compliance with project safety programs and regulations, while overseeing construction management decisions and resolving disputes with project owners.

    In addition to project management duties, you'll lead project closeout procedures, maintain knowledge of company values and strategic plans, and perform additional assignments as directed by management.

    To excel in this role, you'll need:

    • A wealth of experience in construction project management
    • In depth experience in managing personnel
    • Previous work on joint venture construction projects
    • Proven experience in bid-build, CMG, design build, and other alternative delivery projects
    • A professional qualification in Engineering or related field is a plus
    • Valid driving license
