- Maintaining the transport schedule, maximising on double runs and utilising vehicles and personnel available
- Ensuring site surveys have been received in advance for each planned delivery as well as reviewing the survey for potential hazards
- Ensuring any equipment required is hired in advance of the job being done
- Preparing movement orders
- Preparing drivers for the job ahead
- Booking of sub-contract transport, cranes, FLT's etc
- Maintaining the AS400 transport spreadsheet
- Completion of driver payroll details, allowances, expenses etc
- Ensuring senior management are aware of delays or issues
- Experience working in a transport environment
- Experience managing vehicle movements
