GSL Education is currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Exam Invigilators for various locations including Spalding, Holbeach, Boston, and Spilsby.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of examinations and support the academic success of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the fair and consistent conduct of examinations in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
Set up examination venues, distribute papers, and supervise candidates throughout the examination period.
Maintain a calm and controlled environment, responding promptly to any issues or irregularities that may arise.
Assist with the collection and secure storage of completed examination scripts.
Provide support to candidates with special arrangements, as required.
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work as part of a team.
Previous experience as an exam invigilator is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and the successful applicant must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
