Main duties:
As a key member of the international sales and purchasing team (food division), you will be directly responsible for a portfolio of suppliers and customers throughout the worldThe role:

• Responsible for buying and selling food commodities
• Negotiating prices and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
• Arrange / control transport and logistics operations for international orders
• Contribute to generating income and control risks by performing standard trading work
• Liaise with logistics team regarding shipment and documentation
• Develop relationships with existing and new customers and management of sales
• Establishing commercial relationships with suppliers and customers across the worldThe candidate:
• Fluent in English to business level (written and spoken)
• Additional languages such as Chinese / Mandarin
• strong advantage
• Confident, outgoing with good numeracy skills
• Background in sales, purchasing, logistics or export required
• Able to work under pressure and independently.
• Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
