About the role

What will you be doing?

This role works closely with the Children's Commissioning and SEND Access to Resources Team (SEND ART), providing all administrative activities to support our service as we develop systems, processes and provisions to meet the needs of children, young people and families across Cambridgeshire.


You will establish open and ongoing communication with a range of professionals and other agencies involved in the care and welfare of service users.

This will include a high level of support to the team in relation to gathering data and fulfilling an administrative role within meetings and panels as required.


Within this role you will be key to the ongoing development of the service, providing new ideas and managing change to support appropriate service delivery, provide practical, creative solutions to problems and reallocating resources as required.

About you

You will be an organised, calm and enthusiastic individual who is motivated to work independently and as part of the wider team to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.


  • Be an excellent communicator both spoken and written
  • Be experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Be able to work within processes/procedures
  • Have experience in calendar management, setting up meetings and taking minutes
  • Work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
  • Have a willingness to learn and progress with a cando attitude
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have an understanding of the principles and limits of confidentiality
